In this week’s blog I will be sharing my personal Full Moon ritual. After reading a book on how to work with the magic of the lunar cycles I became fascinated with the Moon. In fact I find all aspects of Astrology extremely exciting and it is one of my favourite subjects to research when I have spare time.
Libra Full Blue Moon
On Saturday 31 March at 1:37pm UK Time we experienced another Full Blue Moon, the second Blue Moon of 2018. It is quite rare to have two Blue Moons in a single calendar year as the last time it occurred was in 1999 and won’t happen again until 2037.
In the past few weeks you may have been feeling very reflective as it has been a time of great release. This clearing of energy will be completed.
As the Moon travels into Libra, we will move into a space of new beginnings and there will be a sense of moving forward. The energy of this Libra Full Blue Moon will have an impact on your life and you may experience many unexpected changes. Be prepared to feel the magic.
At first you may feel a little lost but if you trust and believe, a magical shift can be expected. It’s a time to listen to your intuition and tap into the truth within.
Full Moon Ritual
This is the ideal time to practise forgiveness and gratitude and remind ourselves of the intentions we wrote about at the New Moon. We can really use the Full Moon to process any negative emotions, fears or upsets. I would usually practise this ritual the evening before the Full Moon for maximum effect.
It is extremely important that you journal by hand in a notebook, for there is much power in your own handwriting. Additionally you must make sure to feel the feeling of releasing, forgiveness, gratitude etc. - running this flow of energy is extremely important.
I will then use this time to practice a release ceremony to let go of anything that has been holding me back so I can move into the new phase of the Moon.
