This month I have decided to take it a little easier. I noticed I was getting into a pattern of wanting to challenge myself more than the time before and was pushing to find something even harder than before. I recognised that I needed to chill! So this month I will be grounding myself by spending time in nature.
As a city girl I have to admit it's rare I get to experience the true beauty of nature and whenever I travel I find myself in awe of Mother Nature. I decided that even though I live in the city I must be able to find a spot of nature to embrace each day. I will be on a mission to seek out nature every day.
Twelve months of challenges was a fairly hefty load that I placed upon myself. I decided that even after I had completed each challenge, I was still finding myself mentally and physically working through the changes or discoveries. In order to give my mind and body a rest I decided to embrace a challenge that would be less strenuous but equally beneficial.
I kind of just fell into this challenge by accident. I had decided that it would be nice to embrace the outdoors more and begin walking again. Walking turned into spending time in the sun - have you seen how beautiful London has been lately? Which became spending time at the park and viola! The new challenge was born.
I had also heard about 'Earthing' which I was kind of interesting in learning about and I figured I would also aim where possible to 'earth' each day to get the full benefits of spending time in nature.
Thank you for reading and supporting my journey of inner growth!
With love & gratitude.
