It's mid way point and I haven't struggled as bad as I expected.
Sugar free treats
The first week has been okay, I've had my moments of staring into the cupboards wishing to eat the entire pack of Oreo's but have resisted each time.
I spent a weekend in Vilnius, Lithuania and found the most amazing raw cafe that served so many sugar free treats. It was called Raw42 the staff there were so cute and lovely guiding me in what to eat so I didn't break my challenge. Lucky for me most things were sugar free so I was in heaven pretty much.
The worst time of the month hit for me in terms of craving sugar. I was surfing the crimson wave without my beloved treats to help me through it. It got so bad I set about googling recipes and decided to make peanut butter fudge. It turned out delicious and I found a new way to adapt to this lifestyle.
By day 10 I could barely remember how long it had been since I started this challenge. I think that means I have been without it for too long. I am still craving at this point but it is not as intense. I am looking forward to a Vego sugar fix when I am done.
I have to say that I am beginning to think clearer and I have noticed that I am making stronger decisions which is such a positive.
Thank you for reading and supporting my journey of inner growth!
With love & gratitude.
