Wait, the type of food I eat elevates my consciousness?
I hear you, it sounded a little crazy to me too, at the start. That was until I began to feel the effects of the negative energy draining from my body, as I slowly became filled with light.
So why do we feel this light, freedom and positivity only when shifting to a Vegan diet?
If our consciousness is affected by the thoughts we think, the words we speak, the advertisements we are blasted with and the environments we live in then surely, our food has to affect our consciousness too.
Its as simply put as this.
We are all made up of energy. We can either choose to consume positive energy or negative energy. If we consume the latter we will become filled with this negative energy, we will begin to feel bad. If we consume positive energy we will become filled with light, we will feel good.
Therefore, when nourishing our bodies it is important that we chose foods that are filled with light, that will make us feel good.
Let's stop for a moment to think about the meat farming industry.
Do you believe that the animals that we find nicely packaged on our supermarket shelves have lived a positive life? Were they filled with happiness, joy and freedom?
I highly doubt it.
They will have lived in very poor conditions. They will have been imprisoned, with no escape. Given the footage we can see from documentaries like Cowspiracy these animals are in pain, they are not living their best life and they are riddled with fear.
We are then choosing to consume this.
The pretty package it comes in cannot hide the truth of it's past. If the animal that is being served on your plate was filled with fear before it was killed, then that fear is what you are about to consume. That negative energy is now going to enter your body.
Let's come back to my original idea of being filled with light, positive energy when transitioning to a plant-based diet.
The energy that the Sun provides to our growing crops is where this light comes from. By switching to plant-based foods we are able to enjoy all of the benefits the Sun has to offer. We can become truly nourished by the foods we eat without the negative energy draining us.
Our aura is freed of this negativity and after a few weeks it will no longer be affecting your mindset. Eating a plant-based diet is truly a more compassionate way of living, which I found bought me in alignment with my true beliefs.
A Vegan diet has been praised for a multitude of benefits, which include a reduced risk of cancer, diabetes and premature death.
I personally experienced a burst of energy in moving onto a vegan diet and my sister who had suffered with insomnia for years was cured for good within the first couple of weeks of becoming vegan. My mum's eczema disappeared within a few months of quitting dairy and switching to plants. I have seen miracles take place with only the use of plant-based nutrition.

Veganism is about protecting our animals, saving our planet, eliminating world hunger and taking care of our health. Going vegan is the best thing any individual can do, so what are you waiting for?
With love & gratitude,

Love is not about possessing another.
Love will make you feel so free you can fly.
Love is growth.
Love embraces who you are as individuals, with the knowing that together you create star dust.
I have been possessed by another in love before.
It only reveals the other person's incapability of loving, declaring them as immature, lacking growth and ultimately highlighting their insecurities and fear of love.
True love however, true love is not possession.
True love is expansive, it is open and it spans infinite lifetimes.
“The Buddhists say if you meet somebody and your heart pounds, your hands shake, your knees go weak, that’s not the one. When you meet your ‘soul mate’ you’ll feel calm. No anxiety, no agitation.” - Monica Drake
When you meet that soulmate or spiritual partner you will know it because you will have a strong internal feeling of contentment. It will not be busy or over-zealous; it will be patient and kind.
It will give you the power to soar. To chase dreams, build bridges, and make changes. It will inspire you to be better every day.
A day won’t pass without them caring for you. Thinking of you. Loving you.
It will be the greatest journey of your life. An adventure you cannot prepare for. You will learn as the journey unfolds what is required. You will grow into the space.
It has taken many years for me to grow into this way of thinking. I used to believe love could be measured by how big your engagement ring was or the number of text messages you received in a day.
I used to think possessive behavior was love. I used to think it was normal. That my partner checking up on me was sweet. That being attached by the hip was romantic. I now see how full of fear these actions were.
Love is the highest vibration there is. Fear is the lowest.
These two vibrations cannot both be present at the same time. Therefore, relationships can only be based on two things:
“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” – John Lennon
So how do we differentiate between love and fear?
All of the qualities assigned to love are positive for they are the true essence of love and provide that elevated feeling that is sought far and wide. Fear is full of the negative emotions... this is not how we want to be loving. We may have lacked love from our parents or never been shown true love by a partner, but it is up to us to change.
Love is our natural state of being. It is time we begin to embrace our true nature and step away from possession, from fear, and into joy, freedom, expansion, and true love.
When you have the choice… which you do, always chose love over fear.
