Detoxing. I am sure this a word you hear frequently, but most of the time will include a need to juice fast for around three days or so to promote weight loss. This is the most typical type of detox we hear about.
I am detoxing but not in the way most of us will know about.
I am using herbs to cleanse my bowels and blood stream to detox the system of old fecal matter, processed foods, toxic waste, and bacteria’s. I also want to ensure that my system is clean enough for my body to absorb the nutrients from the good foods I do eat.
I became fascinated with herbs around two years ago now and I use them often if I have any kind of aliment, because herbs help to cure the disease from the root. After recently being introduced to Dr Christopher I learned quickly about his formulas to detox the system and decided it was time I gave this a go myself.
I began this cleanse around 5 or 6 weeks ago and I started with his Lower Bowel formula, one week later I introduced the Blood Cleanse formula. Dr Christopher advises that it can take around 6-9 months to detox fully and cleanse the system. This is not a quick fix-it kind of remedy this is a slow process in order to cleanse the body in the most natural way possible and not put strain upon the body.

In this week’s post I wanted to share a little update about my recent book launch. On 1 March my book Twenty8: The Age of Power was released and on 16 March we held the official book launch & signing.
The launch & signing event took place at Ten Cable Street, a plant-based venue. It was a beautiful evening and I was beaming from ear to ear. It was so nice to be able to recognise all of the people who helped to bring this dream of mine into fruition.
I began my journey fifteen months ago when a friend suggested I take part in NaNoWriMo, also known as National Novel Writing Month. In November 2016 I started writing my story which required a lot of hard work and dedication but it has been so worthwhile.
As I moved through the past couple of weeks I really began to realise that the journey is more important that the destination. Taking daily steps towards your dreams is what gets you there. We all have the power inside to make this happen. We just need to believe.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that bought a copy of the book, it is so nice reading your reviews and messages. I am so grateful I was able to share my words with you and sign your books with love.
Official pictures to follow in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, keep chasing those dreams!
