I am so thrilled to announce the launch of my 10-day course Learning How To Love with Insight Timer. It went live on Valentine's Day which was perfectly timed as we can always do with a little extra support around this time, whether we are single or in a partnership.
After dedicating an entire year of my life to unraveling love and the teachings regarding love, I felt it was time to share this knowledge with the world.
Sadly there is no blueprint to how we love despite there being many teachings on the subject. I learned during my year of love was how truly vast love really was.
Luckily I was able to consolidate my findings into a simple 10-day course, not an easy task with so much to share! However, this will allow you to learn to love again, defining what love means for you and helping you prepare for your greatest love story yet.
As many of you know I am working on my second book, The Age of Love so the full story of what I discovered in this heart opening year will be coming soon. For now though, I will leave you with my course as a starting point to love.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the course, share with me in a comment below.
With love & gratitude,
The more I resonated with 28 as a year of significance the more I came to learn about astrology, something I had little interest in before my awakening. This was such a vast subject, and there was much to learn. The more I discussed the topic of my awakening during the year of 28 the more I saw the close correlation with my Saturn Return.
What is Saturn Return?
Saturn is the second largest planet after Jupiter and is best known for its ring system that was first observed in 1610 by the Astronomer Galileo Galilei.
Saturn Return is when the planet Saturn completes its full orbit to return to the position it held in the zodiac at the time of your birth. This occurs once every 29.5 years, typically experienced three times during your lifetime if you are fortunate, around the ages of 28-30, 57-59 and 86-88.
The first one can be described as a rite of passage into the next phase of your life. You only have to think of the 27 Club, those who did not make it past 27 which directly aligns with Saturn’s Return showing us they were not destined to enter the second phase of life.
Sepharial’s Manual of Astrology states that Saturn governs the Father, disease, chronic affections, hindrances, falls and bruises, poverty, friendships, long ties, habits, darkness and decay.
Saturn’s Awakening Powers
The Saturn Return is said to be a time of transformation, a transition from one phase of your life to the next. For me, these years truly were a representation of transformation. I had spent a lot of my twenties in some sort of societal fog, bowing down to who I was supposed to be, not embracing who I wanted to be. It was Saturn’s Return and the magical age of 28 that allowed me to step forth into the path of authenticity.
Each time Saturn Returns we are challenged to discover new levels of awareness. Saturn is the instigator of change and is said to lead you towards healing and a strong foundation of self. Ultimately when we reach this pinnacle time we realise that we cannot coast along anymore, we will need a stronger grounding if we wish to evolve.
This will be a time of making life changes and it can be tough because we may move away from careers or relationships we have been building for the last decade or more. Paths that were followed when we had less understanding of who we were.
It is important not to resist the changes during this first awakening, otherwise you would experience a harder fall in the second round. The harshness of it all can make you feel lost, abandoned, unsure of yourself, lonely and in suffering. But it is imperative to remember Saturn is liberating you, freeing you and allowing you to start anew. It is never too late to be who you were meant to be.
What does Saturn teach us?
Saturn is known to cause cosmic chaos so you may feel this way during your transition however if Saturn Return teaches anything it’s that we should never give away the authority in our lives.
This is a vital time for women especially to look deeply at their father issues because Saturn symbolises the Father.
This is not a time to be afraid or to feel anxious as it approaches, for me it was the best experience of my life. I would however suggest the following to make the journey a smoother ride:
And don’t forget this will be a time of positive change in the long run.
Ultimately, Saturn is trying to lead you to yourself.
With love & gratitude,
